I want to get a spoiler for my I30 that I just bought a couple of weeks ago. Should I stick with an OEM spoiler or will an aftermarket one be just as good? Any suggestions on where is the best place to buy them? I want it to look just like the factory spoilers including the brakelight. I saw this one on ebay and the price seems fair:

The auction says that it's OEM but that seems cheap. Actually it says "Factory Style OEM."

Go OEM. I'd call Midway, Pinnacle or Everything Nissan (see left) and get pricing. Then it'll be painted to match and ready to mount.

I think you might need to make modifications to the trunk to be able to keep the lid open with extra weight on it.

Or perhaps not, Im not certain with the I30. I know I had to with my Mazda 626.

That looks just like my factory spoiler.

It is heavy, but the trunk will stay open with the spoiler.

I say get it. It has a money-back guarantee.

Metaorbit has a cool aftermarket spoiler on his 2002 I35. Check him out, in the Maxima/I30 forum.
