very nice I like it, check kbb.com and compare. to me I got my M35 in 2009 with 40k miles and I paid 19k for it, but it was the base model.

Price is reasonable if you ask me... picked up my 08 M45x w/ 64k miles for $17.5k but it has some questionable ownership history on the carfax report which I think is why I was able to get mine fairly cheap.

Being that this is a private seller and not a dealer, I'm sure there is wiggle room on the price. He would get way less if he traded it in. The only worry would be a warranty. I bought my M from a dealer w/ an extended warranty because I know how expensive repairs on these cars can be.

Car looks great though, good luck.

Prices are different in different areas of the states. In Florida, a 2009 M would go for over 20k even without the Bose surround, radar cruise, or the sport package. I just did a search on Carmax. This is two years older and doesn't have the high tech packge and it's not in near as good shape as the one you posted.

The car you posted has been garage-kept, and apparently is up to date regarding maintenance. That speaks volumes about the care taken by the previous owner. I say consider it a fair price and a very good choice.

The first thing his email said was I'm firm on my price, but I still feel like there is wiggle room lol.

Since you do have other options in your area you should check em out. You may find a better deal.
I found my M on Autotrader and I noticed that private seller vehicles seem to stay listed longer. If you look at all your other options and that car is still available, maybe dude will wiggle some.

6 years ago I paid 25k CAD for an m35x with full factory warranty and 60k kms. I also added an extended warranty for another $2.5k. From then until now I have had to perform a few things under warranty. 2 wheel bearings, new passenger outside mirror, new armrest DVD player, new drivers seat rail, new drivers headlight all under warranty.

Other than these items the car has been running perfectly. Maintenance includes,
Oil changes every 7-8000k km
Oil filter same time
Rear differential every 20k kms
Transmission flush every 2 years or 60k km
Coolant flush every 2 years or 60k km
Brake fluid flush every 2 years or 60k km
Spark plugs every 5 years or 100k km
Tires every 2 years or 60k km - this is the most expensive maintenance item. If you have the 19s consider finding some smaller wheels. They are more co.fortable and tires are cheaper.
Inside air filter every year
Engine air filter every 2 years or more often if in dusty areas
Pcv valve every 5 years or 100k
Power steering fluid every 2-3 years.
Sport models have rear active steering. Don't know maintenance interval for that.
Brake pads every 2 years and turn rotors, however infiniti recommends servicing them every year, just cleaning them up and lubricating the sliders back of pads and possibly turn the rotors or even new pads. Depends on your driving habits.
I would also add the following
Wax the car every 6 months
Recondition the leather surfaces every 6 months
Steam clean carpets but not roof. Steam will separate the lining.
Wipe interior with damp cloth every week. Do not use armor all or any pine trading petroleum junk for interior panels
Try to always park underground or out of direct sunlight since the headlights like to turn milky and will keep your interior new
Turn off features like move steering wheel and seat back on exit. More wear and tear on the motors. The seat memory only works with that feature. Really unnecessary.
Rear sunshade, same thing totally unnecessary and you'll likely forget about it soon after
Rear DVD system, even if you have kids the flip down may eventually break either by them throwing stuff at it or simply the constant opening/closing
If you do opt for it ensure they include the headphones and remote. The bloody things cost me 1k to replace!!
Check for the tire lock key
Check for proof of maintenance, carfax the vin
Drive the car in an underground garage close to a wall on the drivers side window open listening for noises
And whatever else you normally do.

Most importantly buy from our classifieds if possible. Car enthusiasts take better care than the average Joe :)

Yes because they're nice and reliable. Not exactly fuel efficient but we'll worth it, until the cost of fuel jumps above $2/litre here in Canada. Then it's gone.
