Looking to buy '95 240 SE, helpful suggestios?

Hi,

New to this forum:) but looking to pick up a 240SX SE. I've located on for ~$6K w/106k miles. The car seems to be in OK shape. Is this a "fair" price? I need the car to be reliable (daily driver) but would also like to have a fun car to drive. I'm planning on the following mods:

1) suspension2) brakes3) performance (turbo?):D 4) body kit (not too wild or low - speed bumps and poor roads)

I plan on doing most of the work myself. So for now I don't think I want to tackle an SR20DET swap. I would probably prefer turbo kit for the KA. I know a lot of the upgrades are personal pref. but any advice on components and where to buy (vendors) would be great:thumbup

turbo ka? totally rad. Take your time on this one though. Buy many books and browse forums for a loooong time and then you should be very confident re: exactly what you need.

bodykit....meh....whatever yanks your crank. You have the idea with not too low though =)

With the demand of the 240sx now a days, espect to pay a little more or right at blue book, and if you find a truly clean on that has been taken care of, espect to pay even more, esp. with a S14 or mcs14
