A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

I am looking to buy a 200sx in the near future and was wondering if there are any model specific problems i should look for? Also, don't all 200sx come with the sr20de or am i mistaken? I was reading on wiki that some come with the ga16 and if thats the case, that is really gay and a 1.6 doesn't deserve to rock a 200sx badge.

Nice to see a NicoClub memeber form GA. As my sister Lives there and I go there about 3-6 times a year. If you find a 200sx {Good luck} The 200sx are getting harder and rare to find now a days and if you find a SE-R 200sx Just Buy it!! The SE-R has a sr20de motor. Every once in a while you find a 200sx that has a sr20de but just to let you know it's not hard to put in a sr20de in a 200sx.

the 200sx se has a GA in it. i believe only the SE-R came with the sr20 and maybe only a few 200sx SE trims had the SR. yup SE-Rs are getting harder to find. but also depending on what state you live in. if you do decide to buy a 200sx and cant find an SE-R, swapping in a sr20 is cake, just do a little research. i found out the hardeR way some say though that the 96 200sx SE-R was the best year to go with. wiki has a really good detailed bio on the whole "B" series chassis. GAs are actually very respectable ive seen some pretty dope mods man also the older sentra the B13, those also came with an SR20 but only the SE-R trim.

No SE came with SR20DE's unless the motor was swap by someone, other than that they are all equiped with GA16DE's

Not hard to find a 200SX SE-R. Things you need to look for is normal rust on the driver side or passenger side door hinge. Check for oil and transmission leaks and 5th gear pop out.

here is one i found on here

I guess my main thing is i'm looking for something inexpensive, 4 cyl, and 2 door. lol. a sentra will work too. just gotta be 5 in the floor and good on gas. lol. I use to own a b12 chassis and i miss it. slow as dirt but fun to drive. And durable. Know anyone who has one for sale on here that isn't wrecked?

Good luck with finding a 200sx here in Georgia. I have yet to see another SE-R in good ole GA. Check Atlanta Craigslist, sometimes they have one, but usually the sellers are crazy and want $3000+ for a $1400 car!
