Looking into a Sentra

A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

My 2005 Accord EX-L is totaled :tisk:

Good or bad idea? Anything I should look out for in particular to the Sentras? I know on the newer models Nissan extended the warranty on the CVT's to 120,000 miles? I'm just looking for a decent daily driver, and I understand it will probably not be as nice as my EX-L.

I will probably go with the newer 2007+ models, because the older ones I find (online) they are asking $10,000+ with 100,000+ miles.

I do have an audio question for the newer ones: want-some-insight-on-2007-sentra-head-u ... 50852.html

Somewhat urgent; I am driving my other car (92 Lumina), but it has 213,000 miles and a questionable transmission :ohno:

I'm ok, insurance is paying up (not my fault). It is just a little bump in life.

Welcome to Nico :), where are you located, 10k for a 100k+ mile vehicle is a little steep.

The newer Sentras don't have many major issues, but the CVT is one of them, but Nissan is great with their warranty coverage on those.

Let me know your general location and I"ll see what I can dig up for ya :)

Good luck on your purchase, the sentra is a great car for the money and the interior and trunk space is a plus.

I purchased an 07 Sentra 2.0 with a 6 speed brand new. After 5 years and 60000 miles I have not a single complaint or issue. It is a fantastic daily driver. Just keep up with the maintenance.
