Personally, I would only get a J that has been well maintained with service history/receipts. These cars are expensive to repair. Their is no aftermarket and most parts are OEM, pricey,dealer available only (keeps some major cash on hand for parts).

Well maintained models will be virtually trouble free and last you many years.

yeah it looks likeit has a little fender damage ive had a z31 and a z32 so i know the engine pretty well they just seem like very nice cars. does that price seem low for the car

The price doesn't seem low, because of the mileage...

I just hit 150k, and the following problems have showed themself:

Dead fuel pump

Power steering leak

Valve timing control solenoid

Broken spring

Before this I drove the car from 100K-145K with no problems, and this is all coming at once... I think the fact that the car is 15 years old, and 150K miles is starting to prove that even though the car is very solid, nothing lasts forever.

If you plan on buying that, I would say at least have $3K total to keep it running reliably.

Also test drive it, and see what ya think. If it feels solid and tight, maybe it was well maintained, if not, I would stay away.

Just trying to give an honest opinion
