So yea, I have recently found out that a brand new 350z is quite possible for me to attain by the end of summer. Ive been to the dearlership and have looked at it numerous times, and today am scheduling a test drive.

What can you guys tell me about the 350z that I might not already know?

What mods can be done that dont cost an arm and a leg?

Anyone who sheds some light on this situation, I greatly appreciate you.

how was the test drive:D

I get to test drive them every day..uhh huh I like them. The common mods are CAI pretty inexspensive. seen a super charger on a g35 no reason it wouldnt work on a z think it would be pretty pricy though. Theres a pic of it in my gallery I will see if I can get it posted in this thread for ya.

the 350z that automotiveforums.com is building has a vortec supercharger on it. here is a link to it http://www.automotiveforums.com/350z/ they get 376 wheel horsepower and 324 ft.lbs. i would start out with intake and exhaust, but anything won't be cheap if it is like other z cars.

actually the 350z CAI is resonably cheap since it is so short. It doesnt have the enourmous intake system the z31 and 32 had. tatal length is about 18 inches. Its a straight shot to the front of the hood.

check with BRM on the exhuast system. They may have one just for your car.

Didnt get to test drive it. Dad was out (Im not 18 yet). So I couldnt test drive it.

It seems I hear frequently about superchargers. Do they just not make many turbo setups for the Z,or is it just quite expensive?

How much is this supercharger?

Thanks for the other responses.

greddy makes a twin turbo kit for the 350z, but that is very expensive. but then again the vortec supercharger is almost $6k. if you want to go forced induction, it will always be expensive.

although this is in a g35 I am sure it would work in a 350z and is quite a bit less ungodly.

It wasnt directed at you marley, I was commenting on the stilen charger. It looks like it is enourmous. I dont know who make the one in the picture. I snapped that shot at a meet out here. I couldnt find the owner to ask him/her

The 350z is a great car!

In stock form it is very fun to drive and the warrantee is nice as well.

When you are ready to add some mods....The aftermarket support is growing very fast. You will have no trouble getting parts for it. That hard part will be deciding what to mod next and how you can get the cash to do so.

Good Luck and let us know how everything turns out.
