I moved to Lake Charles, La area from Texas about a year ago and have not yet found a reputable z car mechanic. I would like opinions of other z car owner and enthusiast of best rear suspension and what I should add to my to do list. The one local nissan shop that I have spoke with did not empress me with his knowledge or attention to details. Example, telling me something needed to be replaced that I know to be false. I am sure I am not the first female to lied to by a mechanic. I can do some things myself like clutch master and slave. The a/c compressor went out and I haven't driven in quite a while so it needs some work. I also need to replace rear shocks I have no spring compressor. I also would like to replace dash, heater core, a/c auto sensor to manual, speakers and stereo soon. I need a paint and body man for small rust spot starting under paint near ttops. It has a brown gold flake paint. Does anyone know of someone in the Lake Charles area you would recommend for paint or auto repair. I could drive as far as Houston but would like to find someone closer. I have a 82 280zx with 110,000 miles. will send photo if wanted. or check out link

thanks in advance

shannon
