I am pretty new to Z's myself, but one thing I do know is check
everywhere for rust: front end, hatch, underbody (especially the mounting locations). Z cars were very prone to rust, unless you were somewhere with no snow, like Arizona. Do you have your heart set on a 240, or were you just going for something pre-z31? If you just wanted an s30, I would try to find a 280z with the L28E or ET, simply for the electronic fuel injection (or you could just swap in an RB, like GMac
