We finally got our G! Yay us. Now for the fun part - playing with it.

So I accidently started a similar thread in the engine performance section. Oops, too many windows open, too late at night and 'parently maybe a wee bit too much o the Captain on board.

Now that I pulled my head out (thanks for not flaming) I'd like to restructure my querry and put it in the right place.

Anyone do occasional track days with their G? What have you found works for your car? My old FB RX-7 worked best with only a 1.25" drop and 17"s. I imagine these Gs are very close to ideal from the factory as well. What's been your experience with performance setup, who's parts do you like and do you still use your G as a driver?

Thanks in advance for the opinions.

I track mine, and she's my daily driver as well. Here's my setup (suspension/tire/wheel wise):

Eibach Sportline springsStock sport shocks/strutsNRG front strut tower braceCircuit Sports front lower cross tie braceEngine torque damperHotchkis sway barsOE 350Z Track model wheels (18x8.5 +33, 18.62 lbs, all around)Nitto NT-05 245/40/18 all aroundHawk HPS padsStainless linesATE Super Blue brake fluid

She handles pretty well. But, I think I pushed her a little hard this past weekend. The front brakes were smoking after the first session. Hahaha. No worries, though. I have the solution for that going on my car this weekend. :D

Any questions? Ask.

I'm just starting to think about mods to my 05 sedan (straight stock except a pair of Redstuff front pads) ..... been on track once and going again in a few weeks .... What other suspension changes did you HAVE to make with Sport Line springs? .... I'm seeing all kind of recommendations - camber kits F&R if you drop it at all, adjustable sway bar links, rar toe link adjusters, etc.
