Im at a point where i dont really know what question i should be asking to solve my problem. Here's the situation; driving car in the snow going sideways and truck just dies. Push it to the side and wait 30 seconds, starts like nothing happened and that was the end of it. Two days later driving on interstate going 60 and it looses power and motor just dies. Pull to the shoulder, wait 15 seconds starts and i just go, mile later same thing and so i get off interstate and drive home on back roads. No noticeable difference from any other normal day of driving. Any suggestions?
So far:
Gasoline is 92 octane
All vacuum was replaced last year so still good
Just checked spark plugs:(front to back):
1D light white burnt looking
2D slight dark brown
3D Half of insulator is white other half is dark brown/black
4D light brown burnt color
1P light brown
2P 1/4 of insulator is dark brown rest is clean white
3P/4P Brand spanking new-never-used clean.
Checked resistance in spark plug and wire, resistance is so high continuity wont even beep. I'll go get new plugs and wires tomorrow. I'm also going to check the fuel filter to make sure its not clogged.
