leave it to Nali to pull out the old "why not a CA18?" If your looking for aftermarket support of coarse the SR is going to be the best choice but its all about what you want.....if i had it my way and could re-live my old experiences i would do the KA-T.....best bang for your buck ( literally ) It may not rev high but the torque of that motor boosted is really fun and if you get reffed for a ticket just take the stuff off and convert back to stock......no engine swapping needed......and btw theres whole sections on this forum dedicated to these motors and the people in them know there stuff.......all in all it depends on what you want and how much "JDM Factor" you want to play role in your car.....

Just like the Burger King said "We dont make it till you order it!!!"

You can get pretty much anything that youll find for the SR for the CA. Ive never had trouble....no ive never even heard of someone having trouble finding CA parts. Restoring to stock is easy as pie.Smelling 300HP is fairly simple "RX7 injectors, GT28xx or T3/T4, Tuning, Z32 MAFS and lotsa boost"

Going 300 and beyond all depends on your budget much like the SR, but with the CA your starting point is slightly lower both in price and HP. But the CA makes up for this by Revving beyond the heavens.

Haha yeah i always wonder why people all want eeeeS aaaaaaRs yet have no reason not to CA? The CA is cheaper and if you are looking for a decent daily driver i dont see the need to shell out the extra cash for that SR.

I only throw out CA cuz i know it personally, but in all honesty someone could do an RB20 swap for within grasp figures of an SR swap. SO it always shocks me when people completely overlook every other engine and immediately say SR, SR, SR!

plus if he fails he will part it out here, which means more spares for me
