I have never heard of this one, the on die map sensor seems hauntingly similar to the megasquirt but without the open source code and a lot less support. I doubt you'll find a used one since only about 10 places in the US even sells these.

Vipec's are big in the GTR world, I've never heard of anyone using it on a z31 unless of course you have an rb ?

It is a VG30ET. The tuner I am working is familiar with several EMS but he definitly has the hots for the Vipec and can not say enough about its versitility. In my search, if I had a choice, the i44 seams to be an upgrade to the V44. I am still learning and searching. Any help in locating one at a good price would be much appreciated.

Tuners love the modern ecus like vipec, not because it's so awesome, more because of the auto-tune feature... they set a load dyno at X rpm, boost at Y, and wait til the ecu locks in new values in a range of cells.
