I'm getting the ecu and motor rewired and done right. The best thing at this point is to get a new harness (because mine is all cut up). The cheapest one I've seen brand new is 200. on ebay, and 350. on frsport. Does anyone know a better place to get them from? And will that harness work with the Type x blacktop?

It will need to be rewired to work with the J4 ECU.

if you plan to run the E5 ECU on a J4 harness you will have to do some repinning as well.

The J4 pinout diagram I have seems like its missing some wires. Do you guys have a better one? I have the one speedracer put up a while back.

The pinout diagram on the S14 FSM is different from speedracer's. Is it supposed to be different because its the S14?

Why would the S14 FSM have an S13 J4 pinout? The 1993-1996 S14 ECU doesnt even have the same plug as the J4 ECU. The 1997-1998 S14 ECU has the same plug and some similar wires as the J4, but I never released the pinout for that ECU.

The wires that are missing off the diagram I made are wires that are not used in the swap. Everything you need to rewire the J4 ECU to a 62 or E5 SR harness is in that diagram.
