Alright, here is the skinny. I have my entire turbo system together, and am starting to assemble parts. I have sold my old intake and header, and am now balls deep in this. Problem is, I expected to have more time to do this, but I am in college and am working 35hrs a week to boot. So, I have come to the very difficult decision to use an FMU and run 7lbs or less, until I can afford a wideband, and can tune it. So, I am hoping that one of you guys has one that you have ditched in search of the better options (that I ALREADY HAVE) and can spare it to me for a decent price. Currently I have been riding a bike for the last 8 mos to afford this project, and am about to take on an internship that requires me to be in a different city. I either need a very affordable price on: a) a 10:1 or 12:1 FMU, preferably barbed. or b) all stock intake (tubing only) and exhaust mani pieces. Please have a heart. I am happy to pay a reasonable price, but ebay is always there. BTW, I know this should be in classifieds, but I know that if anyone can help me, it is my KA-t boys.Thank you,Nick the Chezedik

Your best bet would probably be to buy the stock intake and exhaust manifold, for reliability's sake. Depending on how soon you start your new job, you may not have time to work out all of the little bugs you might have with your car.

You can probably get the stock parts for like $25. Check a local junkyard or something.

i think running an FMU for low boost setups (7lbs or less) wouldnt hurt. just knock back timing a couple degress.

dont forget to run some sort of upgraded high flow pump to be able to push the psi the fmu will create. a high pressure inline is what you should look for with a fmu. i happen to have a msd inline pump that ill let go for 40 shipped. DONT run a fmu without one, or else.... KABOOM!

What I really need is the whole stock mani. Then I could buy an intake. But the beef is, there isn't one locally, and everyone I have called wants as much as a header for it. I may just have to do that, but I don't know.
