I have a 1990 240SX hatchStock KA24E, with 180k milesI'll have pictures up sometime soonhowever, I'm having trouble deciding what I should do nextI have $400 at the momentI'm just looking for any suggestions you guys might havethanks

What's your overall goal with the car?

Regardless though, first thing you should do is make sure everything is working properly/in good condition. When you get that squared away, I'd test the compression to make sure you have a good base to start with.

my goal with the car?hm...I do want to turbo it eventuallybut obviously I'm not getting that far with 400 bucksI want to stay with the KA thoughSR's and RB's are overrated if you ask meand build it as much as I cani guess that's my "goal"

Can't really get much for $400 nowadays. you could get an Egay exhaust, but if it was me I'd save up a few hundred more and get a BRM or something like that. You could start to do things like take out the clutch fan and put two elecs. in it. Short shifter? CAI? Sway bars? Little stuff first, but small things like that can sometimes make a pretty noticeable difference. Or if you don't want to do performance mods, work on the interior. Stereo, seats, etc....

Oh, btw you can buy a lightweight flywheel. They make a pretty noticeable difference on a stock KA.

I have an Agency power cat back exhaust on itand a few other small thingslike shocks and struts and what not

I was thinkin about sway bars the other day actuallythanks for the suggestions though

Your car looks good. Since you want to go turbo, I'd either start buying the necessary turbo upgrades (intercooler, injectors, oil lines, management, etc) or go with some of the things AZ suggested (electric fans, short shifter, sway bars) I like the flywheel idea too. It's really up to you. Just don't buy anything NA specific cuz then you'd be wasting your money.

yeah turbo's a long term goal for mesince i dont have a job at the momentI'll probably end up goin with sway bars, short shifter, maybe even the flywheel.idkwhatever I do I'll be sure to let you guys knowI should have my HIDS on in a few weeks

work on you suspention and brakes, get your diff welded or a LSD of you liken'. after you make sure the car is good under the hood. pully, B&M shifter. Go have fun.

some of the free things you could do to your car is cut the bottom of your intake box, buuing an after market CAI aint worth the money. HKS or K&N air filter. take out your emmision stuf
