Does anyone know where I can find the steering wheel controls for an 09 altima? I wanted to add them to my car.

That is a LOT of work to get done. You have to replace the steering wheel, wire up to the harness under the dash, and make sure your head unit from the factory can take them. If not, you have to get the factory stuff PLUS the adapter for an aftermarket head unit.

I don't know that it would be worth the money. Good luck though man! You could try http://www.courtesyparts.com/ if you are still interested.

I've got an aftermarket unit with the adapter. My wheel right now has the cruise control stuff on it. I just wanted to add the volume controls to mine. Wouldn't that mean just changing the panels out?

IIRC, no. I believe it's wired up to the main harness in the dash completely differently. Hopefully someone else can chime in if they've done this, but I think it's a lot of cutting and splicing in addition to the steering wheel cover/buttons/etc.

Just stuck in a new set of controls. The local u-pull it just happened to get in an 08 coupe that had been totalled and I was able to grab the controls for less than $50. As far as the install, it was actually extremely easy. My stereo has control support so it worked great. Just as easy as removing the airbag assembly and replacing the controls. Took about 10 minutes to change them out. Same plug and everything. I have the base altima coupe, and it was wired to support the steering controls.
