We generally tell ppl to have your alternator rebuilt by someplace local. They tend to better work and you'll have less problems with it later on down the road.
General Question. When you go to get a alternator rebuild, do you just tell the people that its from a 89 Pulsar NX SE?? Just wondering because I'm sure if you tell them its for a CA18det they would get kind of confused.
I doubt they'll ask. The particular application shouldn't matter them. Also, if you ask them, they can often increase the amps that the alternator can put out.

Thank you guys:) but now im having another problem: when my friend was removing the starter..he forgot to disconnect battery..so he touched body of the car..there was some fireworks under the hood..After that...when im connecting battery all lights on my speedometer starts to glow..but there is no key in the ignition...so if anyone got ideas what is that i will really appriciate your help ( sorry about my english)
Fusible Link in the fuse box behind the battery. There should be 2 or 3 large fuses with clear tops in there. I'll bet one or more are burned. And I'll tell you right now, they're expensive. I'd get a new friend....
