Need to obtain a rear oil seal for 1989 240sx. Does anyone know where available plus best way to remove old seal?

Rear main seal will require a really strong pick with a fine tip; similar to a dental pick.

Wise woman is wise and battle-hardened from working on many cars. This is exactly how I do it. Be careful while working around aluminum though, you can scratch the housing that the seal sits in, causing a leak.

I typically tell people its best to try to pry it off at the top of the seal, that way its above the oil line IF you do scratch it.
