I like the URAS hood vent louvers, well lets go back. I had to modify my throttle body to clear the oem S15 hood. Clearance is still super tight (less than 2 mm) so when the engine torques it may make contact.

So I am thinking about the hood louvers like the ones made by URAS, but I have not found a metal version anywhere. Does anyone here know who makes them in metal, if anyone does? Just a similar vent set up.

Why not just use the fiberglass ones? They mold to medal just fine.

Origin Type-II "Bonet" Would Look Fire...

Kinda Reminds Me Of Muscle Car Cowl Hoods.

Which Would Be Kinda Fitting For You.

Get solid motor mounts so it won't move. But I don't know why the engine would move, I mean its only a v8

I got it to about 4mm clearance. I think I may fab some torque arms that tie the heads to chassis.

my friend modified the engine dampers off a sr to make it not move as much and if u get a soild transmission mount its helps a litttle u still get the soft feel of the motor ones but it help a little with the transmission being solid

if the fiberglass is 2mm away from a v8 engine i don't doubt it can warp it. i'd do what keegan said and get it fabbed out of metal by someone
