Hi there, I'm looking for some new rods and I'm kinda new to all of this, I've found a few but don't know which ones to decide on, and id like some input on some other ones if another ones would be better than others for the price, looking for something around 400ish, here are the two ive found, but please if you know of any others id love some help.

I have no experience with aftermarket rods in an l6 engine. most guys even those making 500 whp stroked and boosted are running stock rods, they are overbuilt and dwarf newer rods from say a VG30DETT. the earlier rods use a larger bolt and the ARP rod bolts are worth investing in but the rods themselves, unless you like to tell people you bought some fancy rods are useless. The only real upside is it's getting harder to find complete sets fo good rods, i had to buy a second set to replace one bent one when I built my motor.

MaxSpeeding rods/cranks etc are really high quality units. I've couple of high HP motors with them. Balancing from the factory is excellent. I have had no issues with them, they come with US made ARP bolts.
