Looking for some input on automatic trans issue... not moving,

hey hows it goin, the other night i was pullin into my apartments and went to back up into my parking spot and when i put the selector in Reverse the car does nothing, the only time it will even move a little is if you bring the rpms up to about 3500 or 4000, trans fluid does not appear burnt and is at proper level, and i have never had any slippage problems with this transmission ever, its just getting me by until the SR swap, but i would like to get it moving again, so any input you have would be great, thanks

bump, i know someone out there may have a sensible answer to whats going on...

I think it just gave out like mine did,I would give it gas and it would jerk back then nothing,If I drive Forward it does work but wouldn't go past 2 gear.and my fluid was good and filter too. So I think it's . Time for a rebuild one.
