ok, i just bought another motor to build up for boost.Basically what I want to know is what parts are necessary to change out?I am building on a budget, I would like 300-325 hp reliably. I was thinking just getting new gaskets and a timing chain kit?The motor has 90 k on it.Any suggestions.My goal is 12.9thanks.

90k is a toddler for a ka as far as i'm concerned.

just check the compression to make sure it's in spec. then have at it.

If you want to play it safe, don't go over 350hp without a buildup.

what is the recommended compression specs?I think I read it somewhere, but I would like to make sure.Thanks.

Manual says 178 psi is perfect.
