springs and shock usually dont matter

most people say theyre alrighteibach springs, tanabe springs, tein springs, tokico i hear theyre all usable and lower pretty well.

i say if youre only interested in lowering the car go get a set on ebay or something it might be cheaper shocks+springs. should run u anywhere from 300-500? id say.

if youre looking more into performance/spirited driving with adjustability then id say go for some lower end (meaning cheaper on the wallet) coilover. kei office, apex world whatever, jic, spl. all of those shouldnt run anywhere around ~1000.

there was a post about this a couple days ago

http://www.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=101470

you might wanna check that outlowering/coilovers can run you anywhere from what 50 bucks for a set of springs - 5 grand for a set of really fat coilovers. if you know anyone with an aftermarket set up id suggest you test drive or sit in the car to see what you prefer. ur rim choice and my "wheel" choice is probably completely opposite in taste. i prefer mostly made in japan high quality forged stuff. you'd probably be more into the tenzo r, motegi, konig stuff. one day you'll grow out of it with time and graduate into people like us

simple question i can ask would be, do you like big deep gold rims? with flush fitment? or bronze. are you in love with racing hart? lol whatever rocks your boat though

who makes the mr7's?

sportlines are really hard on struts, are you looking more for performance or just a lowering?

I loved my sportlines on my AGX struts. Other people prefer RSR springs or Tien. As for the white rims good luck keeping them clean.

Ok well first off mr7s are made by motegi, and i'm looking for mostly performance, thats to say i wouldnt mind a little lowering, but first and foremost performance. And belive you me i'm likie the rest of you, i've worked on my car a good bit, and love the deep dish rims, bronze is nice, but the thats why i asked, i've failed in finding lovely rims, i want white simply to try and stay slight on match with my car color scheme, as lame as that might sound. The car is s13 style body, all black and white shaved handles, might sound not so good, but in person its not bad, i have a groundeffects white kit sittin in my room that someone got me for my birthday, still debating on that one. I thought about just taking some nice FN's or something, but thought i'd hunt around from some beautiful whites that will take me on my adventures, yet japan forged or not i've yet to find any good ones.-thanksjon

edit- PS: so i just found this thread http://www.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=102100 and those are beautiful white rims anyone have any info?

volk te37s, one of the best wheels money can buy imo...theyll probably be too expensive for you, but if you can afford them by all means theyre certainly worth it

White SSR Professor SP1s = teh hawt

As for the coilover recommendation, that's a step that you have to take carefully. How are the roads near you? Unless they're really damned good, don't go buying shiny new Zeal Super Functions or Kei Office D1s or anything....they'll only work against you on anything but a flawless racetrack.

Stiff is good, responsive is good, but for fast point-to-point driving on real world roads, the "stiffer is better" mantra just doesn't apply.

yeh, they're up there lol, ok ok LAST question i swear, and i'll stop bothering all, should i go with springs and shocks, like eibach and tokico(just for example) or with some coilovers, like Tein coilvers(example again=)) i'm a noob and kind of new to the whole coilovers, all my works havent been with suspension at all other then replacing installing shocks and springs lol.

If you autoX alot or drift and need the ability to adjust heigh and damp then definitely go with coilovers. If you do alot of racing events you will always regret getting just spring/shock setup...

If you just want a nice drop and an improved handlig and dont need the ability to adjust alot of parameters then just go with strust and springs

when you say flat roads in that one post do you mean smooth flat or just flat?

if you have smooth roads, bumps wont be a problem, go by what he said above...
