I have a 2008 Altima Coupe 3.5.

I just got a flat tire yesterday and it appears that the other 3 tires are worn down pretty bad.

So I am either

(a) Buy new rims and tires
or
(b) Stick with the stock rims and buy new tires

For option (a) I really like the way the Nismo A34 gunmetal rims look but those are discontinued. Does anyone know any rims that look similar to those or does anyone know of anyone selling the A34's?

For option (b) I'm not sure of what the "best" tires are or what size I need. So if someone could help me out with this it would be much appreciated.

Oh and does the Eibach Prokit make the ride a lot worse?

Thanks.

You didn't mention if this is a 2.5 or 3.5 coupe? The stock wheel size and tires are different for both.

In that case if you got the cash go for 18" Nismo wheels... the '08 3.5 coupe has those (no offense) crappy split 6 spoke 17" wheels which just looked bleh. ;)

As for what tire size you need if you plan to just replace them and keep your wheels, look at the sidewall on the tires, it'll say something like 235/45/17 or something. If you don't know what those #s mean you can google it easily. :) 17 is the 17" diameter of your wheel.

Yes I agree that the stock 17" wheel look bad. The Nismo wheels are discontinued and I can't find anyone selling them. Was hoping some people here knew of someone or some similar looking rims to them.

Yeah I have that number. I was more interest in knowing what a good tire is. My stock ones are Bridgestone.

The dealership said it would be $230 for just the tire (not including mount and service). So I am going to buy my tire and have it mounted elsewhere.

I like em!

Is there a website people recommend to purchase rims + tires from?

Found a site : http://www.vividracing.com

They are selling a set of 4 for $830.

I'm not sure of what the Offset would be (38mm or 45mm).

Also what brand tire (rubber) should I get?

Nevermind - that price looks like its for ONE!

$800 for 4 tires is not bad. I paid $165+ taxes per tire and cost me a little over that much too.

Wheels - I have no idea. I would imagine any decent wheel CAN or should be available for $1000 for a set of 4, of course depends on what brand/model...I'll let others chime in for that.

Personally, I have used 18" Falken Zx 512 (?) on my stock 18" wheels, but unfortunately while having way better grip than the stock Continental trash, I have had bad luck on both sets I have put on (30k miles on first set, and about 5k on this current set) with them getting noisier and noisier soon after 3000 miles, even after alignment... maybe it's my car or the sidewall / tread width issue. :gotme

I wish it was $800 for all 4. It was $800 for ONE!

I wish I could find someone selling either those or the Nismo A34's, but I don't think I will.
