In that case if you got the cash go for 18" Nismo wheels... the '08 3.5 coupe has those (no offense) crappy split 6 spoke 17" wheels which just looked bleh.kdog154 wrote:It's a 3.5.
Yes I agree that the stock 17" wheel look bad. The Nismo wheels are discontinued and I can't find anyone selling them. Was hoping some people here knew of someone or some similar looking rims to them.CoupeVQ35CVT wrote:In that case if you got the cash go for 18" Nismo wheels... the '08 3.5 coupe has those (no offense) crappy split 6 spoke 17" wheels which just looked bleh.
Yeah I have that number. I was more interest in knowing what a good tire is. My stock ones are Bridgestone.CoupeVQ35CVT wrote:As for what tire size you need if you plan to just replace them and keep your wheels, look at the sidewall on the tires, it'll say something like 235/45/17 or something. If you don't know what those #s mean you can google it easily.17 is the 17" diameter of your wheel.

Wheels - I have no idea. I would imagine any decent wheel CAN or should be available for $1000 for a set of 4, of course depends on what brand/model...I'll let others chime in for that.
Personally, I have used 18" Falken Zx 512 (?) on my stock 18" wheels, but unfortunately while having way better grip than the stock Continental trash, I have had bad luck on both sets I have put on (30k miles on first set, and about 5k on this current set) with them getting noisier and noisier soon after 3000 miles, even after alignment... maybe it's my car or the sidewall / tread width issue.
