I was searching the net and I came across some rims. here are the specs 20x8.5, 6x139.7, just wondering if they would fit my 2000 qx4 and what size tire should I get to fit these rims. here's the link

Yes, those wheels will fit your QX4. As far as tires, are you going for the same wheel/tire height as stock (thin tires) or are you trying to increase the total wheel/tire diameter (more sidewall)?

yeah thin tires would be great, I like to keep it stock height. but will it affect the ride quality.

If you go bigger than stock size you ride will get rougher and you will lose some of your turning radius (tires may rub)

I dont think you will lose ride quality. Your side wall still would be chunky and i think your 20's will be thinner then OEM.Correct me if im wrong.

The ride quality will be degraded no matter your tire selection. The taller the sidewalls the better the ride quality. You can't go with much larger tires because then you will start to rub (without any modifications to the body). Also keep in mind that taller sidewalls will also reduce your chance of bending a rim and blowing a tire. If there are lots of potholes or large bumps in the roads then you definitely want taller sidewalls. My brother has really thin tires (which is a horrible idea in Jersey) and he has replaced seven tires within the last six months. Most tire retailers offer tire insurance which is well worth the cost as it has only cost him $50 to replace each blown tire. One positive aspect to thinner tires is they increase your vehicles responsiveness, which is a moot point in an SUV such as the Pathfinder/QX4.

I get your point, What size tire should I get with those rims. I am in a budget so I can't afford anything expensive.
