That is not an 08' model year spoiler, he has an 08'........The one that I linked from my post was an 08" OEM one that is drilled into the trunk instead of the magnetic tape.

It's a universal spoiler for all years, and yes it uses 3m tape to install. I'm just posting a link like he asked, he never said he wanted drilled or not.

That universal spoiler is an M5 trunk spoiler cut to size, they even have them for the roof spoiler. IMO the oem trunk spoiler looks 100x better. :yesnod

That was my thought too....No disrespect to the guy that posted the other "universal" one as I know he was just trying to help but those M5 spoilers def don't look as nice as the OEM ones, IMO....To each his own though.

You're welcome JM...I just wanted to say that the roof spoiler that I linked to you is really really nice....I am really excited to get it put on my car as soon as the weather gets better around my neck of the woods.

I am planning on purchasing this roof spoiler soon as well. Has anyone used anything additional to the tape that is provided to install it and if not, have you had any peeling issues? I live in NY and with the cold and snow I want to be certain that it will stay on "permanently".

Thanks

I live in Wisconsin Bro....I think we might have the same climates pretty much for every season. I don't think there will be any peeling issues. It lays down perfectly on the window and if you apply the tape on a nice warm day, or warm garage then that tape is going to stay until you try your hardest to rip it off. So really I wouldn't worry about it...I use to have a Chrysler 300C, I had an SRT style spoiler with the tape on it and I couldn't peel it off when tried to. It was on for 3 years in all seasons and it wouldn't budge...To take those things off you need adhesive removers otherwise it's gonna stay put.
