wHATS UP everyone,I got me a 95 Q45, and I need some parts for it. If anyone can help me out on where or how to locate them that would be awsome if you could let me know. OR if you have them, and wish to sell them let me know whats up. First off Im looking for a set of JIC coilovers, and the window visors, I have seen the weathertech visors, but they only make it for the front windows. I want both front and rear. For the JIC coilovers, used condition is fine as long as they are in working order. I have heard someone talking about "california custom springs???" what is that? how low is it? also does anyone know how low the eibach springs are for the Q45? I am also looking for the stock trunk lid spoiler purple if possible, but any color is fine as long as its clean. thanks a lot everyone, hope someone out there can help me. Ill be looking for more stuff later too, I just have to figure out what i want. thanks again

I have an unused set of CC Springs on ebay now. If you want CC's I suggest you get em now Eibachs are no longer made, only found used.

Look in the Infiniti Parts section. Look for the user popPop, he can get you a spoiler most likely. Coil overs?--not many are keen on that here.

You'll probably prefer the unique rear parcel shelf for the t and a models also.

Beware of JIC. Reputation for customer service sucks. No one here runs them.

The general rule is to restore to OEM as new specifications, then modify. Otherwise you may end up driving a drag queen in need of a serious operation or transplant. Read Q45tech's post on springs and suspension, unless you just want a parking lot looker.

How much do you want for those springs? Do you know how much of a drop it is? I will be running 18" rims, but if possible can you estimate about how low it goes. Also I am willing to buy those springs from you depending on what amount you want, but seeing as they go for $300 im guessing you want around that. but if you can give me the specs on them that would be awsome. Oh how does the car ride with them? bumpy like cut springs? or more like a sports suspention? anyways let me know. I have cash, paypal, money order whatever.

So no one here runs JIC's??? IS that only because of the fact that customer service sucks? hmmm. what about hight wise? can Cali custom (CC) springs go as low as JIC or any other coilovers can? the car im building definitly is going to be more along the lines of a "Parking lot looker" IM looking for a pretty low ride hight, but not to the point where im dragging my oil pan off the car whenever i go over speed bumps. anyone have any tips or tricks on what they used for suspension for lowering?

If I recall, the CC springs are a 2 in drop, maybe a lil less in the rear.

"Also I am willing to buy those springs from you depending on what amount you want, but seeing as they go for $300 im guessing you want around that."

There on Ebay, up for bid with no reserve. Only market demand can tell you how much theyll go for. I hope to at least get what I paid for them.

Theres only 1 person who may buy them outright here and he knows already.

I have no clue bro, as they are unused/new in box springs. I imagine with these, some blues or coilovers and an 18 inch wheel/tire combo, that it would take most of the luxury ride feeling out of the car and introduce more noise.

If you got good streets to drive on, then go for it. Here in the midwest the streets suck

What's different between standard and t/a parcel shelves?

Any pics?

The std Q has the third brake light in the rear window and therefore has a cutout in the parcel shelf. The touring and active Q's (most) have a brake light in the spoiler, not in the rear window, therefore no cutout in the parcel shelf.

What Brian is saying (without actually saying it) is if you get a spoiler you can remove the rear window brake light and replace the shelf with one from a T(ouring) or A(ctive) model that has no cutout.

BTW- I installed an OEM spoiler (from PopPop) on my Q. The std Q trunk lid does have a connector ready to plug into the spoiler brake light. The template for spoiler installation is not available unless you buy the spoiler from the dealership. Measure carefully before drilling into your trunk lid.

The Cali Customs springs will lower it 2", and in my opinion, the ride is not very harsh at all. I have had no problems with clearance or road conditions.

Mike, how comlpex of a task was it? Are there any additional parts one should look for when buying a used spoiler? I would assume you have to drill from the inside of the trunk lid, so getting the holes lined up with the mounting locations requires some precise planning....

It wasn't hard to mount but you need to do a lot of measuring off the spoiler to make sure you drill in the right spots. It's not as easy as just laying it on the deck and marking hole locations. The way the spoiler is made, it does not lay flush until the holes are drilled through the deck. If you haven't measured properly you're scr*w*d.

You can measure and drill the holes on the vertical surface of the trunk easily by using the center of the keyhole as a reference point. This set of holes is in a straight line. The horizontal holes on the top of the deck are a little tougher to locate since they follow the curvature of the deck lid and are not in a straight line. I misdrilled a couple of these and ended up with elongated holes but they were easily sealed with rubber washers and large SS washers.

As far as attach hardware, I appreciate OEM parts but why pay $1 for a rubber washer, SS screw or SS metric nut that you can buy for 20 cents in a hardware store. The only pieces you need to purchase from the dealership are the two outer clips on the horizontal surface and the gasket.

If you are ready to install your spoiler it would be a lot easier to talk you through the measure and install process rather than write it down here in this post. E-mail me with a phone # if you would like and we can talk.

anyone know where i can find a set of one peice window visors? i see a lot of them on cars in japan, but i can only find the weathertech ones that are only for the front windows. I want the ones that are one peice that go all the way to the back doors/windows.

Im trying to go for at least a 3inch drop with 18's, my plan is to hopefully win those CC springs and cut off one or two coils from each spring to gain another inch of droppage. has anyone attempted this before?

good lord

Why not hack up stock springs? Kinda defeats the whole purpose of the CC springs....
