I'm looking for a portable DVD player w/o screen and small enough to use and able to connect it via the RCA connector in the armrest console for use to play thru the car built-in screen. any recommendation?????? and where I can get it????

Your best bet is probably just to buy the smallest home DVD player you can find and power it through an inverter. You can get some pretty tiny dvd players for under $50. Add $75 for a GOOD inverter, and you're set.

You might want to check into your local laws as well. Here in Massachusetts its a pretty hefty fine if you have a movie playing in the front seats (Distracts the Driver).

However in my dad's Honda Odyssey we did just what Minister said, a 300w Inverter hooked to a Ps2. There's even a second outlet for phone charging/laptop charging, very handy indeed! If you plan on keeping the Inverter for a long time, add another fuse and hard wire it. Much less sightly/much more reliable than the inverter plugged into the cigarette lighter (plus you can only draw so much power through the lighter).
