I'm looking for companies who make 17"x10.5 and smaller as wheel sizes. I know Volk and Gram Light carry those sizes but does anyone else know of another company im not looking at.

You gotta be a little more specific. There are dozens of 17" wheels in 4x114.3 with widths UNDER 10.5". SPLParts.com sells the FN01R-C in 17x9 +20. If you want 'JDM' wheels, there are Super Advans, SSR Professors, etc

Which Volks or Gram Lights do you like?

not necessarily, if the weight is spread out too much you loose grip, thats why bigger snowboarders get bigger boards

and so on...

Not sure who taught who about tire footprint with relation to width, but wider does not mean bigger footprint or more grip.

Soft compound equals more grip. Wider and softer means improved Lateral grip, because footprint is stretched width-wise

Both Green and nissanconvert should read the faq.\

Also, most modular companies can make a wheel to your specs.

Forgeline come to mind, as well as the companies smith offered.

i know with volk and work, you can custom order any rim with any size, bolt pattern, and color to a reasonable extent. the part that sucks is waiting 3 months to recieve your order.

I was refering to both of your incorrect posts regarding contact patch of the tires.

Also, a search would yeild a metric f-ton of fitment threads on the S13 chassis, most of which are "less than a 17x10.5"
