I am looking at getting some TSW rims that are 19x8" (20mm offset) in the front and 19x9.5" (35mm offset) rear. I dont know anything about tires or rims but I want a fairly aggresive look in the rear but dont want to have any problems. Can some one please let me know if this would be a good set of rims and if you can suggest some tires sizes and possibly brands.

This is for a 2006 G35 coupe.

Thanks

If you want aggressive, you can get lower offsets. Fronts high teens and rears mid to low 20 offsets. But then you'd have to roll fenders and/or stretch tires.

It's the most common size and has great variety/availability.

Not sure what rolling fenders or stretching tires means.

fender rolling is the process where you roll the inner lip of the fender up allowing you to run a more aggressive wheel setup or wider tires with out rubbing. Also to avoid rubbing you'd have to get a smaller size tire and stretch it on and add camber (top part of the wheel is tilted in compared to the bottom of the wheel).

But thats if you want a REALLY aggressive look.

not my car but example of rolled fenders/stretched tires/camber
