Hello I am looking for a good after market cam sensor with the same signal as infiniti 23731-JA11A cam sensor
I tried the autozone part #SU12938 the ecu still give p0014 bank1 and p0024 exhaust valve timing control bank 2
I had a bolt loose on the driver side upper cat to manifold, that was fixed, did not check code after. Had the ecu crankshaft relearn done.
the mechanic said he couldn't see the sensors asked if they were OEM I said no , he said that might be the problem. the car runs fine, but it struggles to start for about 10sec. so I am looking for good working replacement cheaper than the OEM which is around 80 for 1.

Were told to buy these from different people, so don't if anyone on here have used these.

STETIG Camshaft Position Sensor 2534-1405-AE
Denso 196-4001 Camshaft Sensor , which is the same manufacture of the oem part

Thank you

$80 isn't terrible.

Otherwise, might be worth trying RockAuto. Their parts selection is generally better.

THere have been many threads here with people using aftermarket cam sensors and they always turn out bad, with the problem being fixed as soon as they put OEM ones back into the car.

Sensors are the one thing I would never use anything other than OEM because the voltage curves will be different with the different parts and readings won't be the same.

Thanks EniGmA1987. I figured so since i bought the az ones. Since Denso makes the oem i figured i would go with these. Denso 196-4001. I didn't see any post for our cars on the part number of non-oem or oem that have been replaced. Had to go you tube to see. the M's are funny cars, they don't like a-lot of aftermarket things.

hello Denso 196-4001 installed. car starts right up no 10 sec try. runs great, no light for about 3miles the the cel came on.
did the oil change,
did senors-fix the startup
did the vvt on bank1 not bank 2 snice there was no code for bank.
code is still there, p0014 camshaft position,,,, dtc 20024. how long does it take for the ecl to clear itself.
I did the whole press pedal 5 time thing, did the negative battery thing. it comes back after about 20min-30min of driving.
