Hey Nicoclub,

We're looking for a lucky contestant to have their car dyno'd.

We're going to be doing dyno runs on around 15 different sets of plugs, in 3 different vehicles. A stock 4 cylinder, stock 8 cylinder hemi, and one modified vehicle with around 100HP over stock.

And that's where you come in- if you live in southern California, have a modified engine, want some dyno time, some free plugs, and pictures and mention in the article we write, post up!

Timeframe is not completely set yet, looks like it's going to be early to mid March, and the shop we'll likely be using is in OC.

Anyone? Anyone? . . . Buehler?

I'd estimate the MG to be about 250whp, approx 100 whp over a stock CA, probably 200 whp over a stock MG lol.

Sweet, just what we need! If you're down I'll let you know some exact dates when we figure it out.

Just in case an asteroid falls on Bwana's MG is there anyone else?

Aaron, can you help Zach get the word out?

Shouldn't have a problem finding more SoCal people to test stuff out.

What mag and what plugs are you testing? Is this something that can be done in 1 day because you're in BFE.

Thanks Greg!

Quote »What mag and what plugs are you testing? Is this something that can be done in 1 day because you're in BFE.[/quote]To name a few we're going to be testing the major manufacturers (NGK, Denso, Bosch, etc.) Pulstar, E3, platinum, iridium, basic plugs, etc.

It's not going to be in any magazines, just an online article that we write up and post on quite a few forums.

Yes, this test should be able to be carried out in one day, assuming it doesn't take an hour to change out plugs on your vehicle.

What are the plugs that you will be testing?

I have two modified V8s making 480 and 550 to the wheels.

Hey guys, unfortunately this doesn't come with a free tuning, just a dyno to see what kind of power differences we are getting out of different plugs.

The plugs we'll be testing will be the big boys (NGK, Denso, champion, autolite, etc.), as well as E3 and Pulstar.

Thanks for all the feedback, keep it coming!

Hey Bwana, sent you an email, guess you never got it. But dates are set for March 9-11, so any of those days. We'll be doing the testing at pecora motorsports in Costa Mesa.

Thanks Becky, looks like Aaron is going to be volunteering his MG, but in case he suffers a sudden nervous breakdown from all the pressure it'll be nice to have a backup
