I'm about to begin my search for some new springs. I've decided that my car needs to be lowered a bit. Here's what I need to know...

1) Who even makes springs for a G37 sedan?

2) Which spring, in your opinion, would be the best choice for a modest drop (maybe 1" or so) while NOT yielding a rough ride?

Tein H Tech normally provide the mildest drop on any application. I will check tomorrow to see if they are available. The ones for a g37 coupe will work as well.

Your chassis is no different than the 07-08 G35, which they do make springs for. The H techs provide a 1.5" drop front and 1.3" drop rear. Now being a non sport suspension a shock/strut upgrade would be recommended if you decide to lower your car on any springs.

The eibach prokit gives a 1.5" drop front and 1.3" drop rear.

Thank you, that's great info! I've had the Eibach Pro-kit springs on my BMW for years and I love them. They provided the mild drop that I prefer with increased handling, but without compromising ride quality. H Tech seems like a popular choice for the G. How do they compare to Eibach in terms of ride quality and handling?

That would be much appreciated. The only company I was able to find published info on spring rates for was Tein.
