Looking for new speakers for my Z

Hey Guys,


Any recommendations on speakers? The guy who owned my Z before me blew the speakers!

Also, I met a guy last night in an Albertsons parking lot that said that he owned an 84 300zx and we realized that we are probably the only two Z's in most of the state! The Z brother hood will survive in Idaho!!!

Doors fr 6.5 IIRC and rears I think are 5x7, just hit up crutchfield.com

An '85 accepts 6.5" speakers front and rear. Pick your favorite set and go with them. If you buy through Crutchfield, they even give you the wire harness adapters for free so it's a true plug and play. Be patient pulling door panels.

I have a set of 4 matching Kickers that I paid about $75 a pair for through them - they sound great and are a huge improvement over the stock paper cones. The Alpine deck in my car pushes 50w x 4.

Hey guys: update

I ended up going with a solid pair of Pioneers that I got off of Amazon, they come in today so I am excited to get music playing and quit having to use the blown speakers.

Yup, as money (and wife) allow . I have spent quite a bit of time and money on the car lately, need to slow down a bit.
