Yeah, I'm looking for anything a bit different you guys might know of, as long as its not country. Underground stuff or just stuff people don't take much notice of.

Tino, I'm sensing hard rock, am I right? For future notice, post the genre (if you can't, describe it as best you can) with the group or song. Thanks guys.

KMFDM is industrial, some of the earliest pioneers of the genre.

Yeah, I'm in Georgia, so maybe some redneck could "do me good." I saw Atmosphere mentioned on a VW board, anyone know of any more.. uh.. I guess the word is underground, rap? If you don't know what I mean listen to "GodLovesUgly" (the original, not reprise or anything), "Free or Dead," and "Summer Song" to get a feel.

I listen to everything (literally) except country, even the occasional pop (though its a stretch) is not unheard of. Right now I've got Weezer (old stuff), Coldplay, Atmosphere, Usher, Fabolous, and Evanscence on the same playlist, plus a few other artists. That's pop-rock, umm... Coldplay is pop-rockish too I guess, rap, R&B, rap/R&B, and hard rock with a chick singing, I'm missing some of the stuff I listen to, but there's a bit of a crossection, I like it all.

The Haunted, mean sounding death metal band from Sweden. Very good stuff. Dubbed the second coming of Slayer, if you like that stuff. i think they are better than slayer IMO.

underground rap... well its not really underground but i think you mean not gangsta rap. it would be worth your time to check these out:

Jurassic 5 - Concrete Schoolyard (or anything else by them, another great song they do is Quality Control.)Blackalicious - paragraph presidentBlackalicious - 4000 milesdilated peoples - live on stage

and audioslave is great. they aren't underground or little-known but they kick mucho asso.

I think they did break up. sucks. i have Freaks of Nature and i love it, pretty good stuff.

oh, try looking up some gravity kills, Juno reactor, Apoptygma Berzerk, Assemblage 23, VNV Nation, Project Pitchfork, and Wumpscut...all very good electric/industrial stuff. I know they're old, but Prodigy is good. also try Prong, Skold, and Skinny Puppy. Skold and Skinny Puppy are dark Industrial/electronic stuff and Prong is like hardcore british music. all good stuff.

Prodigy is definitely good. Paul Oakenfold/Perfecto, of course, Digweed, DJ Micro, I can go on with that sort. I'm kinda in a... soft mood.. at the moment, anybody got any Weezer/Dashboard Confessional type stuff (I'll repeat, I like everything). I hope other people have seen this thread and found something new they like! edit: Anyone using Kazaa for this search, look up DJ W and try "Move As You Feel" and "So Lovely" on, they're a bit of a soft, rhythmic, dance/techno/trance, and you'll only find him on Kazaa and those are his only two songs, except for something named "regulus" by a different DJ W.
