^^Other than that, it's a used car. Normal, common sense things -- look for fluid leaks, uneven tire wear.
Any used car is going to be a gamble. Even if it has had all of the services done and it has been babied sometimes things just go wrong. Around 100k is often when a lot of things need to be replaced like starters, alternators, CV joints and different sensors.
Maximas tend to be pretty reliable cars, but occasional problems come up, as with any car. I don't know that many people that think Maximas are unreliable. It is Nissan's flagship car and they tend to be pretty well built.
