Hello,
I am on the hunt for a supercharger kit specifically for the M37. I know that the 370z/g37 kits are for the same engine however it would most likely involve lots of modifications when it comes to piping and such.

Are there any kits available that are made specific to our car I can acquire now? Turbo or supercharger either or.
Thanks in advance.

I don't think there is but perhaps someone who's interested in this can confirm.

So what have they been talking about if you don't mind me asking?

"The supercharger makes over 500 at the crank, but in all reality it is making around 400whp. We usually upgrade the injectors and fuel pump, to push around 450whp out safely."
Looking into headers option and HFC and XYZ pipe. AWD makes this challenging; I think the only headers that worked on G37 AWD are Stillen and maybe TopSpeed.
Dyno and additional tuning using my Uprev.

Stillen supercharger for any 3.7 VHR should bolt on to the M37. But you may have to modify the intake plumbing to run nicely through the radiator support. (and cut holes in the radiator support). Otherwise its a straight forward install. I believe Stillen recommends either stock cats or full catless test pipes NOT HFCs for some reason... And ECUTEK is the way to go for tuning VQ37 IMO.

I'm not familiar with ECUTEK; do you know how it differs from Uprev or what it does better? I've had no complaints with Uprev.
I've never heard negative things regarding HFC. I wouldn't want to run test pipes cause I still need to pass emissions in VA. Back in the day I ran no cats lol.

I’ve been considering stillen kit for 370z, since it is the same motor (different bore size, of course) but all in all almost identical. I worry that for already a $6-$8k price tag I’ll have way too much cost in modification to get it working with my M37. Ive seen nothing in regards to anyone doing such a mod to their M, and I was in contact with an Infiniti dealership near where i live, that are licensed Stillen dealers and they have no records of this being done.

Any other info from this point out would be very helpful, thanks.
Will keep you posted.

What shop is this? I’m in the NH area, and I’ve had no luck talking to any shops about this style modification. No one seems interested since there is no kit for the car.

The tuner has lot more control over ECUTEK than Uprev. On a N/A VQ with bolt ons... not really a difference. For forced induction you have benefit of more precise timing, speed density tune options, traction/ignition, you can run flex fuel too.

HFCs probably only gain like 5hp over stock cats... and they will blow out fast if you push the tune dont need to worry about that with the catless test pipes. It's obviously up to you but not worth the $500 for something you can't feel and the emissions trouble.
