I'm looking to get a set of lowering springs, but I'm not sure how much I should lower the car. I was thinking of Eibach Sportlines, but I thought the 1.7 front/1.5 back might be too much. Opinions on that?

I'd like to know too, I have a 97 240sx, coiloversa are too much for me, I'd rather save for a swap, so I'm currently shopping around for springs also. I was thinking Tein's I'm not sure though..

eibach usually over advertises the amount lowered. The oem struts in a 240 have a fairly short stroke to begin with. That leaves about an inch of lowering before you hit the bump stops over potholes. Anything more aggresive and you will get a rough ride. Tein h-tech and eibach pro's are good springs for comfortable daily driving.
