I burned up my KA24E (don't ask) in my '90 240SX. Can I replace it with a later model DE without major modification? I read that it involved some wire rerouting. I am hoping that it will mount directly with the stock '90 manual transmission and motor mounts. I would really rather have the DOHC.
I am looking to pick up the engine within Washington state. The best price I have found here is $750 with a yard warranty. Can anybody beat that price? I am really wish to pay no more than about $450-500 and would rather the location be close to the Seattle area. I could arrange to buy today or this weekend, if somebody has the right engine.

Please forgive my ignorance when it comes to 240 engine swapping. I drove the car for a few months and it has been sitting for almost 2 years while I got around to diagnosing the problem.
