I am looking at getting a front chin spoiler for my car. I have a small dent at the bottom of the front bumper, so I figure I may as well just cover it up with a chin spoiler as apposed to getting it fixed.

I was looking at this spoiler, I quite like it;

Are there any others out there that are similar? I'd love the look of the Nismo front bumper without having to change the entire thing.

Also, will it fit my stock bumper? I have JDM factory fog lights plus my front bumper seems alittle different.

Any ideas would be appreciated! Also, are these easy to install? How do they generally attach? Do they need to be drilled into the existing bumper? Can they be taken off later?

This is the factory lip I just ordered from Everything g35. The one you posted looks very similiar - one advantage of the factory piece is that it comes painted.

He is from UK probably comes like that. Just a guess tho. Agree with Cali. Get the factory one if it is cheaper for sure. Look similar.

Im not from the UK, Im from Australia.

My car is from Japan and the foglight kit was an add on from factory, retails for around $2k US.

I have no idea why that foglight kit is so expensive.

Andy if you go the to the everything g35 website, and look for G35 aero parts to find the lip spoiler - they have installation instructions to download - i would imagine that most lips will install the same way.

I think your car is the same color as mine which is desert platinum kx6. I'm not sure how you would find out. I believe there is a way to decipher it from you VIN. Do a search for Nissan VINs - to see how they are structured. Otherwise if you have the original sticker it would have the code. If you can't find this out - I'm sure everything G35 can tell you the color based on your VIN.

I think there are three silver/grey type colors for 03-04. Silver, Dark Grey, and Desert Platinum - desert platinum changes from silver to champagne depending on the angle and light - it has some what of an irredescent look to it.

Hope that helps.

Am I the only one who noticed that Andy is like 10k miles away from EverythingG35?

I was going to offer him a CF replica spoiler (made by yours truly) until I saw Australia.

So you are not going to offer him a spoiler because he lives in Australia????

Just like the car that was made in Japan made it's way to Australia, so too will the spoiler.

Just received mine today and started the install at 7pm finished at 10pm in the dark.

Andy - this may be your only complication. The drilling templates are placed flush to the mesh - you currently have the foglights occupying this spadce. So you may need to remove the fogs in order to get the templates on correctly.

I *think* it should be ok, the template should just be able to go over the foglight kit until its installed. I don't think it will affect alignment.

See, they should just go over the top.

@ Sentientbydesign, I'd definately be interested, however I'm currently waiting on a quote from everythingg35 for shipping to AU. How much are you selling them for?

The only bonus with getting the factory one is its already painted!

Whilest we are on this topic, can someone tell me which chin spoiler this is?

I love the look of this one but havent been able to find it anywhere.

Sorry John,

I haven't forgotten about you. I was just supposed to not be working weekends anymore so I can devote a couple of days to finishing your project and I've worked every weekend since. I just put in my 2 weeks yesterday, so I'll get working on another spoiler. Sorry

I'm looking at $250 +shipping on the CF spoiler. You'll need to have it clear coated, unless you want me to get it done before I ship.
