I was wondering if any one can provide information on their experience with how much power a new OEM NA Z32 clutch kit will hold up too. Ive searched, theres tons of post on what to use on a RB25 but very little feedback.

i was also looking at getting the Exedy oe kit for the NA z32. which is saposed to have more power holding ability.

then theres the nissan patrol OEM clutch kit idea, just almost always has to be shipped from half way around the world.

currently the motor will be stock at 10psi,but i plan on testing drifting on it for full track day about once a month.

any feedback is appreciated.

__also for future reference

although im just looking for a good replacement clutch kit before i install the motor, in a year i plan on being in the 350-400+ range, and any recommendations (with experience ) on what clutch i should get a year from now can help to.

I have a spec stage 3 in my car and it's working great. Price is very reasonable and the drivability is good. It's rated at 400 ft lbs iirc (torque is a more accurate measurement for clutches than HP).

I have an RPS Max series (Z32 NA) non puck clutch. It is much stiffer than stock. I cannot comment on how it holds up, because my car is about 95% done. The clutch disk fit perfectly, as did the pressure plate. I was impressed with the quality from RPS.

I have the ACT heavy duty pressure plate and sprung 6 puck disk. I would buy it again. Its a might grippy, but I am used to it. Its not a chatter riffic clutch. 512 ft/lbs of tq. I know Ill never see that, so now I don't worry about it.

I know others have had good luck, but I have three freinds who have had bad luck with Spec, and I had an XTD which was a total pile of junk.

RPS. hands down.

i wish i could have afforded one for my new engine, its about 3x the cost of one for a RB.
