I just replaced the air filter in my 2016 Rogue SV [FWD]. The air filter housings attach to the body via a "U" prong that slides into a rubber grommet that screws into the body.

Both grommets are +110K old, and are no longer large enough to hold the prongs firmly. The air cleaner filter and the removeable tube to the front rattle because the grommets are old. The mounting bolts have a shoulder that sets the spacing for the grommet. You cannot tighten that screw in order to compress the grommet [or so I think].

Before checking on-line, I looked at the 2016 Service Manual on NICOclub. The alphabetic index calls out "EM-16", but I DL'd all FSM files and I have no "EM.pdf". EDIT: the Air Filter is NOT in the Fuel section [FL.pdf]

If you check the FSM Maintenance section, you find the rubber bushing is a "Grommet". Fine. Like "I am Gladiator"...

Is the air cleaner / housing section in an earlier FSM? I'm going to surf the interweb, and when I get the part number, I'll post it.

EDIT: Holy SNAP - Nissan Parts is pretty durned proud of their Rogue...

The EM (Engine Mechanical) PDF seems to be missing from the 2016 Rogue FSM section on here,
but there is one in the 2015 section.

The 2016 FSM Maintenance [MA] section does not have the Mounting illustrated, nor does the 2015 EM. The parts lists on-line do show them and they are available, I searched for "Air Filter" and they are there.
