I've bin having problems with my exhaust and using the search feature has brought me no good results. So enough is enough. I'm tired of my misshapen down pipe. After doing my RB25 swap over a year ago I noticed the bends in my cheap downpipe were not correct near the rear of the pipe. As a result it forces my catalytic converter to point somewhat downward which makes the rest of my exhaust hang to low and stretch my rubber hangers making it scrap bumps galore.

What I would like to do is replace it with a better downpipe, one that has a proper bend near the rear that will keep my exhaust parallel with my frame rails. Here's my problem every time I find a good looking SR20DET down pipe to mate up to my Syko Performance 3" Turbo Elbow it has a Tapered inlet for a stock sr20 elbow and are usually 2.75". The fallowing picture is a Blits Downpipe that I have highlighted to show the 2.75 taper I don't like, and the bends my current pipe lack.

What I really what to know is if anyone knows of a good downpipe on the cheap with nice bends and is 3" inlet and outlet.

Thanks.

look for a rb25det down pipe or rb20 .. it bolts up to the exact same place as the ka or sr or rb tranni mount...

the problem is not where it connects to the cat/conv. ... the sr/ka front flange is at a very slight angle off the rb20 or rb25 downpipe

2 days ago i had sr20det , rb20, rb25, rb25 neo front pipes in front of me @ the shop.. so i know for sure

...eheh and a couple of rb26 from R34 engines around

The Problem is I need to know a good brand of Sr20 Downpipe that is 100% 3 inch in and out because that is what my motor mount setup is designed for.
