Looking for climate control sensor info - Mines blown up

Anyone see info around on what type of air temp sensor is in the center console on Nissan climate control from the mid ninety's. The car is the A32 Maxima - 1995. I suspect other Nissans of the same era will be the same.

The sensor is a glass bead two wire device, possibly a thermistor or maybe a thermal diode.

Anyone got the test proccedure from a handbook ? That might give me the clues from what the expected test result is.

The sensor uses the same socket type as the ash tray lamp - stupid.... Bye bye sensor.
