Modified meaning - Relocated or removed certain components / customized, Paint, polished, or detailed the entire bay, etc.

Wanted to see if anyone out there took pride in keeping a tidy engine bay

Check out the March issue of HCI magazine. My car is in the magazine for none other than a "tech guide: Engine Bay Paint Job"

Take care!

on that 1 pic where the guy took stuff out, it looks like he took out -

fuse boxbatterywiper fluid resivorwiper sprayerscoolant resivorrelocated intakecruise control

also i cant tell, crank fan is deffinitley gone but i dont see any evidence of it being replaced with an electric fan.

personally i have put my battery in the trunk and made a smaller intake, and it would be easy to get an electric fan instead of the crank fan, and it would be easy to pull the wiper stuff, but i am confused about how in the heck you would relocate a fuse box and a coolant tank? not saying i want to gut my engine bay but i would just like to know

its not hard put it in the dash where the radio would go or glove box, ull just have to splice the wires to make them longer.

That's my car. I don't surf this forum anymore, too much crap, but a friend sent me the link so I'll answer a few questions.

The fusebox is under the dash, it doesn't require any wire lengthening to move it, the majority of the harness comes from the SMJ so it all gets shortened. Relays are located either behind the cluster or ECU.The crank fan is of course gone, but there's no 'added' electric fan, I'm using the OE electric fan, the one that people never seem to realize is there.Wiper tank is trashed, battery is in trunk, A/C went on Ebay years ago, along with all emissions equipment from the intake manifold. Coolant tank is temporarily deleted, the car runs very cool as it is but a new tank with an upgraded radiator are slated for install soon. Power steering reservoir and lines will be relocated/modified soon too, and the turbo setup will be completed by end of year.
