Ouch.

A few things to consider: The Q HATES cheap rims. It's a heavy car, and it'll ruin a set of "el-cheapos" pretty damn fast. Those you picked out are junk. Sad but true.

A better idea: Keep an eye on ebay for some "takeoffs" from a 97-05 Q. I have a set of 04 Premium chrome 18's, and they cost me less than $600.

Plus they're GOOD wheels, not crap.

If you're lucky, you'll find a set with tires, saving you even more money.

Also, keep an eye on our Classifieds section.

If a Q can bend ugly but super strong oem wheels imagine the results from using cheapo weaker units designed for the typical chrome car.

I have gone thru 3 sets of oem piepans......one bbrand new set every 5 years and NEVER HIT A CURB.

I bought 2 sets of takeoffs [$100 each] back in 1994 because I knew what would happen.............now that they are all used up I have been able to hand select 4 in spec rims out of the 12 for future use.

I select for balance not asthetics!

Cheap chrome and even expensive chrome is a very bad invention for wheels!

Go there and get something used. Forged, Polished and chrome, under 1500 90% of the time.

Q45s with "tuner" wheels look like trash, chrome with lip is the only option.
