looking for Audio suggestions

I'm going to be coming into a 97' q45 soon and I have some questions about aftermarket audio stuff.

It has the boss radio and I was looking into getting a new head unit (mostly for an aux output) and maybe replace the speakers. I know currently everything works fine but I figured why not.

Now this is where my 2 questions come in. I think I read that some head units might not work with the boss amp? If this is true should I just get another boss head unit or look to replace the amp as well? And how would I go about it?

Lastly I couldn't find any info on the speakers in the car. Are they worth changing and if so what too?

I suspect you mean Bose radio?

If everything works and your goal is to add aux capability, for $5 you can get a cassette, 3.5mm adapter.

Crutchfield and other outlets sell adapters that will match the output of an aftermarket HU to the existing Bose amplifiers. Replacing the amps and speakers probably depends on if you're satisfied with the sound.

Ugg yes, sorry, I wrote this late. I promise you I am not an idiot lol.

Also I am most definitely looking for something much more then a cassette adapter.

They didn't have anything vehicle specific for bose adapters for Infiniti, but they did have Audi's, mazda's and GMs.
