Wondering if you got to test it, and wondering if you are still safe and sound.
Unlike that other guy, the flameing post guy, Im am seriously interested. I didnt want to jump on your back, but I definetly feel that you have a very dangerous set up there.
I cant sleep without at least telling you how close you may come to losing your legs if this thig explodes. I am unaware of your current car/setup, or where the plane of your clutch extends. But I do know that if it is RWD, and the clutch splits the plane of your body, you may lose limbs.
Clutches explode, even the BEST ONES. This is fact, and also fact is that there are numerous accounts of sheared off legs from these type of mechanical failures.
Just be careful, I dont know how to be, but think before you launch.
Metalurgy classes would tell you that the thickness of a material is nill, unless you know its composition, hardness, etc. I basically want to type a book, but you already heared it, so Im out. Please let me know how it works, because I am more than curious.
Thanks,Matt
BTW, :ylsuper on the idea, I just fear flying shards of metal. You would be amazed what they can do to cars, tracks, and mostly people.
