looking for an engine

anybody know where I can find a TB48DE here the US I have found everything to build it I just can't find the motor to build. can anyone help?

Good luck. thats a bad *** engine. Only problem is, the Nissan Patrol that it comes from, is not sold in North America at all. Not US, not Canada, and not Mexico. The nearest place you can find them is South America, and i would be sketched out on buying an engine from there. I would contact a Nissan parts supplier in Germany or UK for a reliable source..... its going to be a very expensive project to take on in the states.... shipping costs alone will easily hit 4 digits.

getting the motor is the hard part there are several american companies that make aftermarket parts for them from head parts to a full 5.1 stroker kit from brian crower I just need the front clip. I actualy work for nissan but I dont want to pay 15000 for engine trany wiring harness and ecu. the rest I can fab. i want to do a franenstien swap into a 240 sounds crazy i know but so am I.
